Federica Brignone had a sensational season, earning 16 podiums, including 10 victories. The tigress has been a delight to watch on the slopes this season. Her aggressive style of skiing has won the hearts of fans around the world. She was a true overall skier this season, as her victories came in three disciplines: Downhill, Super-G, and Giant Slalom. The skier from La Salle, Aosta Valley, won the Overall, Downhill, and Giant Slalom titles.

Brignone won her second Overall Crystal Globe, having previously won it in the 2019-2020 season. The 34-year-old brilliant Italian skier secured the Alpine Ski World Cup title with 1594 points, a 322-point lead over Lara Gut-Behrami. She can be proud to be the first Italian woman to conquer the Overall Globe. Brignone joined the Italian-Overall club composed of Piero Gros, Gustav Thoeni, and Alberto Tomba on the Men's field.

Brignone is the oldest winner of a women's World Cup race. Of her 37 World Cup victories, more than half (22) have come after she turned 30. Her 37 World Cup wins in all disciplines puts her tied 8th with Marlies Schild on the all-time World Cup win list. The only Italian to have won more than 37 World Cup events is ski legend Alberto Tomba (50).

The Italian has 10 World Cup wins and 16 podiums to her name this season (2 Downhill, 3 Super G, 5 Giant Slalom), making 2024-2025 her most successful season. In 2019-2020, she won five World Cup races, and in 2023-2024, she won six.

Federica Brignone claimed her first career Downhill Crystal Globe after the Sun Valley final race was canceled due to strong gusts of wind.

Brignone finished with 384 points, ahead of Cornelia Hütter and teammate Sofia Goggia. Her previous best finish in the Downhill was 3rd in 2019-2020.

She has won two Downhill World Cup races this season, in St. Anton and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. They are the only two Downhill World Cup wins of her career. She also came 3rd in Cortina d'Ampezzo, her only other podium of the Downhill World Cup season.

Federica Brignone won her third Crystal Globe in the Giant Slalom category. It’s her second Giant Slalom title after her first in 2020. Brignone, with five wins (Sölden, Semmering, Sestriere I and II, and Are) and a gold medal in the Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach, was crowned the best Giant Slalom skier of the 2024-2025 Alpine Ski World Cup winter season.
