Eight World Cup wins this season, three discipline Crystal Globes (Downhill, Super-G, and Giant Slalom), and another Overall World Cup title. Marco Odermatt (Switzerland) has once again demonstrated he is the most consistent and therefore the best ski racer of our era for the fourth consecutive time.

Marco Odermatt ended the season with 1,721 points in the overall World Cup rankings. Henrik Kristoffersen, in second place, was 605 points behind, while teammate Loic Meillard took third, trailing by 645 points.

The 27-year-old Swiss Ace has won the Overall Crystal Globe four consecutive times: 2021-2022, 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025. He finished the 2024-2025 winter season with 13 Crystal Globes (4 Overall, 2 in Downhill, 3 in Super-G, and 4 in Giant Slalom). With 13 Globes, Marco Odermatt has become the fourth most successful men's skier of all time. Marcel Hirscher with 20 Globes, leads the way, Ingemar Stenmark is second with 18, and Hermann Maier is fourth with 14.

The last man to win at least four World Cup Crystal Globes in a single season was Hermann Maier in 1999-2000 and 2001-2001 (Overall, Downhill, Giant Slalom, and Super-G in both seasons).

The only Swiss man other than Odermatt to win at least four World Cup classifications in a single season was Pirmin Zurbriggen in 1986-1987. He won the Overall, Combination, Super-G, Downhill, and Giant Slalom titles.

Marco Odermatt, with 87 World Cup podiums, has overtaken Pirmin Zurbriggen on the list for the most Swiss men's World Cup podiums across all disciplines.

Marco Odermatt secured the Men’s Downhill Crystal Globe after the season's final race in Sun Valley was canceled due to adverse weather. It is Odermatt's second Downhill Crystal Globe, following his first one from last season. The last Swiss skier to win the Downhill Crystal Globe before Odermatt was Beat Feuz, who won four between 2017-2018 and 2020-2021.

During this season, the 27-year-old Swiss ski champion secured a podium finish in the Downhill six times out of eight races, achieving victories in Val Gardena and Wengen.

This season, Odermatt clinched his third consecutive Super-G Crystal Globe. He is the fifth man to win three or more Super-G season titles, joining Kjetil Jansrud on three. Aksel Lund Svindal and Hermann Maier share the Men's record with five Super-G titles, while Pirmin Zurbriggen won four. The 27-year-old Swiss superstar is the first man since Svindal from 2012-14 to win three Super-G globes in a row. Maier holds the Men's record with four Super-G globes in a row from 1998-2001.

Odermatt has placed in the Top seven in his last 24 World Cup Super G races since March 2022, making the podium in 18 of these events.

This season, he finished in the Super-G podium 4 times, including three wins in Beaver Creek, Kitzbühel, and Crans-Montana.

The Swiss Ace is the fourth man to win at least 15 World Cup Super-G World Cup races, after Hermann Maier (24), and Aksel Lund Svindal (17).

He has won the last four Giant Slalom Crystal Globes. In the 36 Giant Slalom World Cup races Odermatt has competed in since the start of the 2021-2022 season, the Swiss skier has won 24. Only Marcel Hirscher (31 wins) and Stenmark (46 wins) are in front of him on the all-time Men’s Giant Slalom win list.

With 45 wins (4 DH, 15 SG, and 26 GS) and 88 podium finishes across all disciplines (42 in Giant Slalom, 25 in Super-G, and 21 in Downhill), Odermatt holds the record for the most World Cup podiums by a Swiss male skier.
