Alpine Ski World Cup 2024-2025 Super-G Winner Lara Gut-Behrami

Lara Gut-Behrami won the last Super-G race of the 2024-2025 winter season in Sun Valley and clinched the Super-G Crystal Globe.

The skier from Ticino has finished on the podium in six of the nine Super-G events this season including two victories in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Sun Valley.

With Sun Valley's win, Lara Gut-Behrami secured the Super-G Crystal Globe, her third one in a row. She has won the Super-G Globe five times before: 2013-2014, 2105-2016, 2020-2021, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024. Gut-Behrami celebrated her seventh small Crystal Globe and her ninth Crystal Trophy (she won the Overall Crystal Globe in 2016 and 2024).

Gut-Behrami is the only Super-G star with six Crystal Globes. German Katja Seizinger (1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1998) and American Lindsey Vonn (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2015) won five times the discipline title.

On the Men side, Austrian Hermann Maier (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2004) and Norwegian Aksel Svindal (2006, 2009, 2012, 2013, and 2014) are also in the exclusive club of the winners of five Super-G Crystal Globes.

The skier from Ticino is second for most World Cup Super-G wins (24) and podium finishes (44) among women, only trailing Lindsey Vonn (28 wins and 47 podiums).
