Norwegian Party in Sun Valley To Close the World Cup Season. Timon Haugan Wins and Henrik Kristoffersen Claims the Globe

Timon Haugan won the last race of the Alpine Ski World Cup season in a thrilling finale and claimed his third triumph of the season and his fourth one in the Alpine Ski World Cup. Clement Noel finished in second place, 0.03 seconds behind Haugan. Fabio Gstrein secured third place on the podium, trailing by 0.37 seconds.
Henrik Kristoffersen finished in fourth place and grabbed his 4th Slalom Crystal Globe. He also won the title in 2016, 2020, and 2022. He joined Alberto Tomba on four Slalom globes, behind only Ingemar Stenmark (8) and Marcel Hirscher (6). Kristoffersen has won two World Cup Slalom races this season in Val d'Isere and Kranjska Gora. In 12 World Cup Slalom races this season, Kristoffersen has one DNF and has been inside the top eight in the other eleven races, including five podiums.
