Franjo Von Allmen and Loic Meillard won gold, Alexis Monney and Tanguy Nef took silver, and Stefan Rogentin and Marc Rochat earned bronze. It was undoubtedly a historic day for the Swiss Team. Switzerland secured a podium clean sweep at the Team Combined Event at the Saalbach 2025 Alpine World Ski Championships and increased their medal quota to eight.
For Franjo von Allmen, it was the second gold in Saalbach after the one in the Downhill. The 23-year-old had sent Meillard into the Slalom with a deficit of 0.02 seconds. The Slalom specialist overtook the duo Alexis Monney and Tanguy Nef by 0.27 seconds. Von Allmen followed the steps of Breezy Johnson, winning gold in the Downhill and the Team Combined.
Switzerland celebrated a multiple victory for the first time since the 1987 World Championships in Crans Montana when Peter Müller led a quadruple victory in the Downhill.
